GET TO KNOW US — SÖNMEZ ACADEMY

Sönmez Academy began its operations in 2014 in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ.
Aiming to train qualified professionals in vocational and technical education, our institution focuses on Vocational Training for Employees Working in Hazardous and Very Hazardous Jobs, offering on-site training opportunities across several provinces including Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Edirne, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Ankara, and İzmir.

In 2017, with the establishment of Sönmez Certification, the institution expanded into the vocational qualification certification field, contributing to the certification of qualified personnel in Türkiye.
Initially authorized in the Construction and Welding sectors, Sönmez Certification has since expanded its scope to include Textile, Machinery, Metal, Plastic, Transportation, and Trade sectors.
Today, Sönmez Certification continues its vocational qualification certification activities in 23 different branches.

In 2020, Sönmez Academy launched university-approved vocational training programs for employees in hazardous and very hazardous occupations, in line with Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety.
According to the law, individuals working in these professions are required to obtain a vocational training certificate.
Our training and certification processes ensure that participants are registered in the e-Government system and integrated into the qualified workforce.

In 2021, Sönmez Academy expanded its service network by obtaining Ministry of National Education approval for its Heavy Equipment Operator Training Course.
We provide Class G operator certificates in multiple machine types including Forklift, Overhead Crane, Electric Pallet Truck, Stacking Machine, Backhoe Loader, Manlift, Fire Truck, and Tow Truck.
Training sessions are conducted both in our facilities and on-site at factories, offering practical learning opportunities.

In 2022, Sönmez Academy opened its First Aid Training Center in Çorlu, approved by the Ministry of Health.
We offer Basic First Aid and First Aid Renewal Training sessions at our training centers in Çorlu and Çerkezköy, and, when conditions allow, also at companies’ own facilities.

At Sönmez Academy,
we continue to provide sustainable and continuous education services aimed at training, certifying, and integrating qualified professionals into the active workforce.
