Sönmez Academy began its service life in 2014 in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, and is a leading educational institution that aims to cultivate qualified workforce for the country in the field of vocational and technical education.

Our Mission and Training Focus

Our institution primarily focuses on Vocational Training for Employees in Hazardous and Very Hazardous Occupations. Our goal is to bring individuals who are required to obtain a mandatory vocational training certificate under Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety into the qualified and certified workforce.

Our training and certification processes are based on the principle of registering participants into the e-Government system.

Widespread Training Network

We continue to offer on-site training opportunities in many major provinces, especially Tekirdağ, including Istanbul, Edirne, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Ankara, and İzmir. Since 2020, these trainings have been provided within the scope of university-approved vocational training programs.

Corporate Development and Certification Activities

Sönmez Academy has taken significant steps not only in training but also in the field of certification.

1. Sönmez Certification (2017)

With Sönmez Certification Company, established in 2017, a new corporate structure was achieved in the field of vocational qualification.

• Initial Fields: Initially authorized in the Construction and Welding fields.

• Expanding Scope: Over time, it expanded its scope to offer examination and certification services in sectors such as Textile, Machinery, Metal, Plastics, Transportation, and Trade.

• Current Status: Today, Sönmez Certification continues its vocational qualification certification activities in 23 branches.
  
  
  

2. Heavy Equipment Operator Course (2021)

Sönmez Academy Heavy Equipment Operator Course expanded its service area by receiving Ministry of National Education approval in 2021.

• Certificates Issued: Our institution provides Class G operator certificates for many types of heavy equipment, such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, Electric Pallet Jack, Stacker, Backhoe (Backhoe Loader), Manlift (Personnel Lifting Platform), Fire Truck, and Vehicle Recovery Truck.

• Training Model: Our trainings are conducted both at our own course areas and through on-site training and exams at factories.
  
  
  

3. First Aid Training Center (2022)

In 2022, the Ministry of Health-approved Sönmez Academy First Aid Training Center was opened in Çorlu.

• Training Provided: Basic First Aid and First Aid Update Trainings are organized.

• Training Locations: Trainings are held in our training halls in Çorlu and Çerkezköy, and can also be conducted at companies' own training halls when suitable conditions are provided.
